| 中文描述 | 在澳大利亞的綿羊可能因為吃了STACHYS ARVENSIS或staggerweed這類的草，而有移動失調的現象出現。此疾病已經被報告過很多次，而且發現種子所含的毒可能比植物本身還多。年輕的動物比老年動物敏感，除此之外，若母羊放母於此種草原上時，小羊吸母羊的奶也有可能感染。這是一種輕微的退行性肌病和次要的神經病變，若離開此植物會恢復正常，但是很緩慢。 |

| 英文描述 | Sheep in Australia can develop a locomotory disorder following ingestion of STACHYS ARVENSIS, or staggerweed. The disease has been reproduced, and seeds appear to be the most toxic portion of the plant. Young animals are more susceptible than adults, and lambs can be affected through ingestion of milk from ewes grazing the plant. There is a mild degenerative myelopathy and peripheral neuropathy; recovery following removal from the plant was slow. |
